New weapons for Secret of Mana Plus v2 preview
A lot of players requested better treasures for the hidden chests in Secret of Mana Plus. So next version of the hack will feature one additional weapon orb for each of the 8 weapons allowing you to upgrade your weapons up to level 10 (9 previously). Although you won’t be able to go beyond 8:99 in weapon mastery.
The new weapon orbs will be available through:
– Small side quests
– Hidden chests
– Bonus bosses
– New chapter added to the main story

Where are they all , i can find only 9 and sword only 8 and playing allready a while š
There are bonus orbs from side quests, Pecard in the lighthouse will help you with it. (And if you really struggle there is a spoiler topic in the forum).
Then just like in the vanilla game, some monsters in the Mana Fortress will drop the last weapon orbs.
Also there was a bug from version 2.00 to 2.02 that could take a sword orb from you at the end of pure land. If so, the sword orb glitch might help you getting an extra orb (make sure to have a backup save before attempting it).
Iām also stuck at the last Sword Orb. I got the one through the new sidequest but the dwarf still shows one more upgrade. Do the mana fortress enemies drop it now?
This is normal. The sword still has one less orb than other weapon. The Mana sword (level 10) is obtained during the final boss using mana magic. If you want it sooner, you can always use the famous sword orb glitch (then don’t use mana magic in the final fight).
