Secret of Mana Climate Crisis

This Secret of Mana hack gives a fresh new flavor to the original game. The various regions of the world now have different climates and the 8 palaces swapped their elements. Palettes, monsters and NPCs dialogues have been changed to create coherent environments while remaining true to the original game.

Small sections of the game maps have been modified in various ways to keep you entertained, confused, lost, annoyed, or simply to aesthetically align with the new landscape.

Features:

• Over 35 slightly edited maps
• 7 shuffled donjon/area maps
• Palaces with swapped elements
• Some modified magic spells and added status ailments to saber spells
• Swapped/custom palettes for maps and monsters
• Swapped enemies
• Altered town NPCs dialogues, main story remains the same
• Shops armors changed from Mandala and beyond (making Tasnica shop relevant)
• Edited World Map to reflect the climate changes

Difficulty is a bit higher than the original.

This hack includes enhancement hacks by Moppleton:

• Max consumables increased from 4 to 7.
• Allow leaving characters behind: allies won’t get you stuck anymore.
• Elemental melee damage: Elemental sabers will cause 1.5 times damage against the right element, and half damage against the wrong element.
• Enemy species damage: 1.5 attack against targets whose species is weak to the weapon you have equipped.
